Despite the belief North America was an unspoiled wilderness, we have discussed three major pre-Columbus communities located in what is now the United States.  Select one and provide an essay in at least 500 words.  The essay must include period of activity, location, population, and reasons for decline.  Essay is due at the end of the unit.
